Ellysse Mason is a Manchester based singer and songwriter
whose music explores themes of self discovery and the search to understand the world around her. To accompany the release of her single, I Don’t Wanna Dance, a collaborative merchandise collection was developed to extend the visual world of the release beyond the music video.

Drawing inspiration from space themed illustrations
and the visual culture of Manchester’s Hacienda era,
the creative direction focused on recreating ‘out of
this world’ moments from the single’s music video.
Selected scenes were transformed into illustrations
and adapted for a series of T-shirts, each hand dyed
by Ellysse, resulting in a collection that felt closely
connected to both the artist and the release.
